A few weeks back, our snowblower stopped working because someone's tire chain had fallen off in the street, and it got tangled up in the snowblower rotor. And we never bothered to deal with it. So I got to shovel out roughly 12 inches of wet, heavy snow out of our driveway by hand.
After I was done, my 22-year -old stepson arrived (good timing) and informed me that there is no snow whatsoever on his college campus, about 15 miles north of here.
Life is good.
